We had orientation today, it was splendid. I got my schedule, I'll post it some other time. It doesn't seem that I have to many classes with my friends, or at least the ones I've talked to today. I guess we'll see :P
I'm going camping tomorrow with Timmy. I forget where, but there will definetley be a long, picture filled blog on Saturday or Sunday, depending on when we get back, describing every second of our excellent adventure.
By the way, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure is a hilarious movie. I saw like, half a year ago, and it's freakin sweet. I don't really wanna describe it, but you should definitely get it sometime.
See yall on Saturday :D

1 WEEK OF SUMMER!
I have exactly one week till I start high school! This is nuts. I'm actually really excited, except for that whole learning part. I've been told that Armstrong is pretty much a magical party, except for that damn learning, humph.
I guess if my life were a book, Monday would end the middle school chapter of my life. So since I don't really have a book yet, here's my tiny middle school passage:
Through the gates of Sandburg I walked that sunny day in September. My friends and I were all eager. We had all attended the orientation, but nothing could have really prepared us for this. Our eager smiles, bright polos, and heavy backpacks filled with hopes immediately clashed with the angst filled hallway.
The first week was a blur. Forget my locker combo a hundred times, get lost way too much, get yelled at for running for fear of being late to class, and having to deal with all the smart ass seventh and eighth graders. We made friends and enemies, but mostly friends. People cliqued with others immediately. I was a GEEK!
Seventh grade rolled around and nobody was nearly as nervous. Almost everybody, including myself, had found there cool. While everybody else had to go through braces, I didn't. WOOHOO! I ditched the pink muscle shirt and Hawaiian tshirts, and became alot more comfortable with my surrondings. I went out with a girl for the third time, except I'm pretty sure that we were in love for a while. The teachers taught us not only the curriculum, but also things about people. It was a year of growth, sexual exploration, and puberty.
By the time we were in eighth grade not much had really changed, except for my voice. We were all a bit more mature, with better humor and more developed taste in music; nobody listened to Crazy Frog anymore. I dated around that year: Dana, Sabina, Charlotte, and Emi. And I really didn't care what people thought about my dating habbits, because I loved every minute of it, except the akward break ups. People formed opinions, and our cliques got smaller. In sixth and seventh grade I was friends with everybody. In eight grade, I was friends with a lot of people, but I had a main group I hung out with. Everybody became more exclusive I guess.
Now it's the last week of summer, and everybody's ready for high school. It's going to be a long fucking road.

Well...
So, my phone is broken, which sucks cuz i didn't do anything. Turns out it has technical problems, so I'm getting a replacement by the 18th.
The only other thing signifagant about this week is that we're putting my dog down tommorrow. I'm really sad. I've never actually had life without Kali (that's her name). She's been here ever since I can remember. However, her quality of life is pretty bad. She's 75% blind, almost completely deff, has back problems, skind conditions, and has problems with her bladder and such. Not to mention that if she lived in the wild, she would be dead by now. But God I am going to miss her alot. I guess it takes the bad times to recognize the good ones.
:(

It was wierd 8-/
When I was boarding home from work, I saw this guy when I was like twenty feet away from him. Charectaristics: shirtless, black, and muscular. I find that whenever you see someone you should smile at them; it's really akward to try and not look at them once you've made eye contact. I think he thought I was smiling because I was scared or something cuz he gave me this wierd look. But then when I rode by him, he growled at me! He fucking growled at me! Who does that?

Barrage of Friends
For this week, I've been chillin with somebody like, everyday, which normally doesn't happen with me. Sunday I went to the Strangers with Alex, Dana, Emily, Kati (emily's sister). Yesterday I played tennis with David, then went to the Crystal pool and the park with all of those people I saw Sunday, plus Kati's friend. And there were like ten kids at the crystal pool from Sandburg. Then that night I saw Charlotte, Quincy, Jake B, and this other guy at Schied. And today I hung out with Maddie, Tommy, Adam, Malik, Natalie S, and Jacklyn W. Me adam and tommy went longboarding and I just got home.
I'm trying to fit in a bunch of shit this weekend because I start work next week. I work at Camp Manitou week days from 9-5.
BTW, the Strangers was alright. Like, two stars out of five. It wasn't super scary, just shook you up. And the ending pissed me off, and scared the crap out of me. The ending was this girl who is supposed to be dead wakes up and screams really loud, and really loud I was like HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!!! All my friends thought it was hilarious, but the ending just made me really mad. The old people accross the aisle from us gave me a really funny look :P

Washington DC was so much fun! I bunked with Adam, Troy, and Mitchell. We went and saw everything, I got some holocaust books for my dad, a book of coffee recipees for my mom, a painting and bracelet for emi, and a shirt, a hat, a journal and a picture for myself :) The library of congress is like one of the coolest places if you ever go to DC.

FRESHMAN!!!!!!! Armstrong should be pretty fuckin sweet. Here's to four years of unpredictable shit!
